The Yunca Group trades both nationally and internationally, and has a strong position in the New Zealand market.

Yunca Group is 100% New Zealand owned.  Based in Invercargill., New Zealand it was established in 1977 by Terry Young under the philosophy "quality first".

Its traditional core activity has been the manufacturing of domestic home heating appliances.  Yunca has been exporting since 1984 to Australia, the Netherlands, Greece, USA, Canada and Japan. 

Over the past 39 years the company has diversified into a number of varying fields including production engineering, aluminium smelter servicing and supplies, transport engineering, LPG gas distribution and vitreous enameling and powder coating. Yunca have continued to expand and restructure existing facilities to remain competitive.

Yunca Engineering

The Business was established in 1993 primarily for specialised production engineering, especially maintenance and manufacturing work focused on the aluminium smelting industry.

Services include Plasma cutting, CNC pressing, turret punching, press punching, robotic welding and general engineering all integrated with computer-aided manufacturing systems. Read More

Procote Industries

Procote is responsible for powder-coating and enamelling, is based in Dunedin. As well as undertaking the finishing work for all of Yunca products, they offer independent services and products, including manufacture of whiteboards and architectural panels. Read More
